Paul Allan Marchand

Britt - Paul Allan Marchand, 18, died suddenly at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital at Britt early Tuesday. He had been ill only a few days.

He was born Nov. 12, 1947, at Britt, the son of Joe and Viola Gordon Marchand. He was a 1965 graduate of Britt High School and had been farming with his father.

He was a member of the National Guard unit in Mason City and the Britt Methodist Church.

He is survived by his father; two brothers, Donald of Kanawha and Lee of Britt; a sister, Mrs. Orville Hurlburt of LuVerne. His mother died in 1964.

Funeral services will be at the Methodist Church at Britt at a time to be announced. The Rev. Warren S. Paige will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Britt. The Boughton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
