Four Children Die of Measles

Ronald Jensen, 6, Dies Tuesday Night at Hospital

Clear Lake, May 14, - Ronald Jensen, 6 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Jensen, Fertile, died Tuesday night at a Mason City hospital following a siege of measles and complications.

Ronald is the fourth child of the Jensen family to die within the past week, all of them being measles victims. The deceased are Virgil Leroy, 16 months; Neiven, 3; and Allette, 7. Surviving this great loss are the parents, and two children, Vivian, aged 9, and Dean, aged 5.

All of the children were inflicted with this contagion, but both Vivian and Dean are up and past the danger point.

The body is at Ward funeral home awaiting the funeral which will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home, followed by services at the Ellington church. The Rev. Mr. Oakland will officiate. Burial will be made in the Ellington cemetery.
