M. P. Galloway Corwith Buried

Milton P. Galloway, 91, a pioneer resident of Corwith, died Wednesday July 23, at Good Samaritan Home, Algona. Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Corwith, Rev. Louis J. Runion officiated. Burial was in Corwith Cemetery.

Born in Logan County, Ill., he was the son of Joseph and Mary Moran Galloway. He was married to Matilda Sennett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sennett, Feb. 26, 1892. They came to the Corwith vicinity in 1912 and farmed near here until retiring.

Survivors are his wife, five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sons, Clarence E., Robert J. and Louis E. and two brothers, Joseph and Tone.

Mr. Galloway was a member of the Corwith school board when the original brick school was built. He attended the Methodist Church and was a member of the Masons.
