George Daniels Funeral Rites to Be Monday

Britt - Funeral services for George Daniels, 71, will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Boughton Funeral Home. The Rev. Julius J. VanDenHoek, pastor of Christian Reformed Church, Woden, will officiate. Burial will be in the Christian Reformed Cemetery.

He died Friday morning at the home of his brother, Claus, Clear Lake. He had been in ill health for the past year and death was caused by a heart attack.

Mr. Daniels was born May 23, 1885, to Harm and Harmka Swyter Daniels in Hamswehrum, Germany. He came to the United States when he was 11 years old. His parents lived for many years at Grundy Center and later moved to the Woden-Titonka area. He farmed all his life. He was not married.

Surviving are four brothers and four sisters, Mary Klunder, Grundy Center; Herman, Garner; Anna Schroeder, Woden; Martin, Des Moines; Albert, Revilo, S.D.; Tina Riggle, Crystal Lake; Claus, Clear Lake, and Sadie Rotschafer, Britt
