Leroie "Shorty" Shoup, 1923-2006
Leroie "Shorty" Shoup, 82, of Garner, died on Monday, April 10, 2006, at the Concord Care Center, Garner.
Private graveside services were held at the Concord Township Cemetery in Garner. The Cataldo Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Leroie Eugene "Shorty" Shoup, the son of John Dewey and Ruth Virginia (Locke) Shoup, was born on December 23, 1923, at Nashua. He attended school at Nashua. Shorty was employed at the Garner Bakery for many years. He also worked at the Perkins Restaurant in Clear Lake. In October of 2000 he became a resident of the Concord Care Center in Garner.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
