Joseph C. Hadacek Jr., 67, of Duncan, died on Wednesday, January 29, 2003, at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 1, at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Duncan. Fr. Jerry Blake was celebrant. Lector was Jan Sweeney. Altar servers were Rusty Hadacek and Mike Hadacek.

He is survived by a son, Kevin C. Hadacek of Des Moines; a brother, Robert Hadacek and his wife, Sharon of Forest City; a sister, Patricia Juhl and her husband, Maynard of Nora Springs; a sister-in-law, Betty Hadacek of Protivin; and many nieces and nephews.
