Marlyn `Marnie' Vivalda - FALLBROOK, Calif.

Marlyn `Marnie' Vivalda, 62, of Fallbrook, died Monday (May 6, 1996).

She was born on Nov. 16, 1933 in Britt, Iowa to Ivan and Alberta Iverson.

She graduated from Crystal Lake High School in 1951.

At her request, there was no service. She was cremated and buried at sea.

Mrs. Vivalda did volunteer work at Maie Ellis Daycare, Madonna Preschool and Vista High School.

She worked for 18 years as an operator and supervisor with the telephone company in Mason City and Garner and in Huntington Park, Calif.

After moving to Fallbrook 24 years ago, she worked at Robert Shaw's, was a receptionist at the Army/Navy Academy, Carlsbad, Calif., and worked in the base housing department on Camp Pendleton, Calif.

She was affectionately known as the "Goat Lady on Morro Road'' because one of her pet goats gave birth to five babies at once.

Memorial donations may be made to The Fallbrook Hospice, 624 E. Elder Street, Fallbrook, Calif. 92028.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary, Fallbrook, Calif.
