Quentin Victor Stille was born April 12, 1903 at German, Hancock, Iowa to John Joseph Stille and Clara Gast.

1910: John J Stille 38, Clara Stille 27, Gertrude Stille 9, Quentin Stille 7, Fern Stille 2, Baby Stille 1 mo,Verner Bredlow 67[17], Caroline Stille 68.

1915: Quentin Stille age 11.

Found in the 1920 census at Liberty, Hancock, Iowa: John J Stelle 49, Clara Strell 36, Quentin Strell 16, Ferne Strell 11, Cremen Strell 9, George Strell 5, Lucelle Strell 2.

Found in the 1925 census at Klemme, Hancock, Iowa: John J Stille 55, Clara L Stille 41, Cuentine Stille 21, Fern E Stille 16, Kennet H Stille 14, George A Stille 10, Lucile L Stille 7, Virgil C 4.

Quentin married Evalyne Carothers March 21, 1925 Hancock, Iowa.

The couple had 4 children who were all born in Hancock County, Iowa:
- Glen Allen (b September 29, 1926, d May 23, 1930 Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa);
- Harlan Stanley (b March 25, 1928, d February 23, 2011);
- Shirley T and Lawrence L.

Found in the 1940 census at Klemme, Hancock, Iowa: Quintin Gille 36, Evelyn Gille 36, Harlan S Gille 12, Sherley T Gille 10, Larry Lee Gille 5.

Quentin was a farmer, fisherman, hunter and trapper. He survived an explosion of a large roller tractor engine while working on a road construction project. He also worked as an electric lineman and was thrown from a pole when he touched an electrical live wire, fell onto the railroad tracks and broke his back.

After Evalyne's death, Quentin married her first cousin, Cora Marie Badker Dent on February 14, 1953 at Hancock, Iowa. They had no children.

Quentin V Stille died January 6, 1981 at Klemme, Hancock, Iowa and was buried at Calvary (Ell Township) Cemetery, Klemme, Hancock, Iowa.
