GARNER FARMER DIES AT M. C.

E. P. Taylor Suffers an Attack While Seed Corn

GARNER, Sept. 28 - E. P. Taylor died at Mercy Hospital, Mason City, Monday from a peritonitis attack which followed an operation for gall trouble. He suffered a sudden and severe attack shortly before the time of his death while he was picking seed corn on a farm near here.

Mr. Taylor was born in Tama county 57 years ago and had lived in Hancock county 13 years. He married Miss Cynthia Striley at Toledo, Ia. Seven children were born to the couple, one of which died when two years of age. Mrs. Taylor and three sons and three daughters survive. The children are Mrs. Bessie Suchomel, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Flossie Bradley, Toledo, Ia., Miss Edith Taylor, at home; John, Howard and Keith.

Mr. Taylor was a member of the Masonic and Woodmen orders. C. B. Higgins, Mason City, will have charge of the Masonic rites at the funeral. Services will be held at the Garner Methodist church Wednesday, at 2 o'clock p.m.

Services at the home will be in charge of the Rev. T. E. Okland of the Miller Lutheran church. The Rev. C. H. VanMetre will have charge of the church services. Burial will be made in Concord cemetery.
