Mrs. Altie Liscomb, wife of Frank Liscomb, died at her home east of Garner, Feb. 17, 1903. Although her health has not been good for some time her last sickness was but short.

The deceased was born in Hancock county in 1882. Her maiden name was Franklin. She was married to Mr. Liscomb Feb. 21, 1902. She leaves one child about two years old. Mrs. Liscomb became a Christian about four years ago and united with the M. E. church. She lived in faith and in dying said "It's alright."

Funeral service were held in the Garner M. E. church conducted by Rev L. F. Troutman and that which was mortal was laid to rest in Concord cemetery.
