Ida Katterhenry rites Tuesday at Garner church

GARNER - Ida Katterhenry, 79, died of a heart attack at her home here. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church here. The body will lie in state at the church from 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Trevor Baskerville will officiate. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery with the Bohn Funeral Home in charge.

Born in Knoxville, Ohio, Jan. 23, 1881, she was married at Garner, Jan. 1, 1900, to Louis H. Katterhenry. They farmed in this vicinity 40 years. Her husband preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Martha) Simons, Garner; Mrs. Sophia Push, Mason City.
