Mrs. E. Hunsley rites held at Britt church

BRITT - Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church for Mrs. Elwin E. Hunsley, 49. The Rev. W. R. Thomas, a former pastor, officiated at the services.

Dorothy Trulson was born May 10, 1911, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Axel Trulson. She had lived her entire life in the Britt Community. She was married to Elwin Hunsley Nov. 25, 1937. She died at her home Nov. 26 after a prolonged illness with cancer.

Mrs. Hunsley was an active member of the Congregational Church and president of the Hancock County Cancer Chapter for several years. She was a past president of the Britt Womans Club and active in the Mason City Concert Group.

She is survived by her parents, husband, son and four sisters, Mrs. Byron Hunsley (Elsa); Mrs. Mildred Johnson; Mrs. Vincent Kreitinger (Evelyn); Mrs. Erwin Buck (Mary) and one brother, Theodore, all of Britt.

Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery with Osman Funeral Chapel in charge.
