MRS. HUISINGA DIES AT KAMRAR AGED 94 YEARS

Woden: Mrs. Alberta Huisinga, formerly a resident of the Woden vicinity, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tillie Huisinga near Kamrar last Saturday night, May 5, at the age of 94 years.

Mrs. Huisinga was born at Wymeer, Germany in 1856 and in 1883 was united in marriage to Harm Huisinga at Wymeer, Germany where they established a home. In 1902 the family came to America and lived near Kamrar until 1911 when they moved to the Woden vicinity. Her husband preceded her in death in 1937, and a son, Jake, died in 1948.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters: Henry Huisinga of Sibley, John of Woden, Mrs. Tillie Huisinga of Kamrar and Mrs. Fred Redenius of Britt. There are 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Mrs. Huisinga was the last member of her family.

Funeral services were held at the Huisinga farm home near Kamrar on Tuesday at 1 o'clock and on Wednesday, May 9, services were held at the home of her son John Huisinga in Woden at 1 o'clock followed with services at the Christian Reformed church.

Burial was made in the Christian Reformed cemetery.
