Hold Last Rites for Corwith War Victim

Corwith - Funeral services for Ralph Hersbergen, 39, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church. The Elmer Wilson post of Corwith escorted the body.

Hersbergen was killed in an airplane crash over France while on his way home from military service in 1945.

The young man was born March 1, 1909. He leaves his father, Sam Hersbergen, a brother Dale and 2 sisters, Mrs. Edith Krause and Mrs. Stretter, all of Corwith.
