Former Britt Resident Dies in Council Bluffs Following Long Illness

Britt, Oct. 22 - Fred Brown, at one time a resident of Britt, dies in hospital at Council Bluffs Saturday morning. Mr. Brown has been in ill health since last Memorial day, suffering from Bright's disease.

The body was brot to Britt Monday. Burial was made in St. Patrick's Catholic cemetery, The Rev. Father J. F. Querrin officiating at a short service at the grave Monday afternoon.

Mr. Brown was the son of Thomas Brown, who owned a large hay barn east of Britt many years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brown of Cedar Falls were the only relatives present with the body.

Mr. Brown is survived by the sisters and three brothers who are: Arthur Brown of Cedar Falls, Henry Brown of Texas and Joseph Brown of Sioux Falls, S. Dak.
