Funeral Services for Elwin Roy Bailey, 53, Take Place at Garner
GARNER, April 23 - Funeral services for Elwin Roy Bailey, 53, were held here yesterday afternoon at the Shannon home at 3 o'clock with Dr. J. T. Walsh in charge. Burial was in Concord cemetery.
He was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Bailey, early settlers. He was born in Concord, now south Garner. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Harley Goslin of Sioux City, who with her husband, drove here for the burial. He also leaves two brothers, Charles of Garner and George of St. Louis.
Mr. Bailey dropped dead in the hotel lobby at LaPeer, Mich. He had been employed in various capacities of railroad work, having been city ticket agent at Superior, Wis., until he recently turned his attention to insurance work among railroad employees.
