NEWS ITEMS FROM GARNER

Burial

The body of the late E. C. Abbey accompanied by his wife, his son Elmer and daughter, Mrs. Clifford Sweigard, arrived from Grover, Colo., on the 3:25 Rock Island. A large company of Masons; the Progressive Club, besides relatives and friends, met at the station, from which place the cortege went at once to Concord cemetery, where a Masonic burial service was held. The large number of handsome floral designs gave mute testimony to the high esteem in which the deceased was held.
