Britt services for Ray Higdon

BRITT: Ray Higdon, 66, died Monday at the Hancock Memorial Hospital here, following a long illness.

Born in Illinois in March 1895, he came here 35 years ago. He had been in the insurance business until retiring a year ago. He is survived by his wife, Blanche; a son, Kenneth with whom he was in business; two grandsons, three brothers, Ben, Britt; Claude, Long Beach, Calif.; the Rev. Ernest Higdon, Eureka, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Harold Murphy, Van Nuys, Calif,; Mrs. Floyd Nelson, Cody, Wyo,; Mrs. Paul Million, Crawfordville, Ind.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church here. The Rev. Warren Paige will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a family prayer service Wednesday morning at the Osman Funeral Home.
