Hugh D. Gordon rites at Ledyard

LEDYARD: Hugh D. Gordon, 88, died at a rest home in Estherville Friday. Born Aug. 14, 1873, in Somerset, Ohio, he had farmed all his life.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Josephine Flynn, Elmore, Minn.; Mrs. Glenn Oxley, Corwith; Mrs. Lucille Huber, Estherville; seven sons, Harry, Long Beach, Calif.; Raymond, Blue Earth, Minn.; Anthony, Mason City; Hugh Jr., Minneapolis; William, Westminster, Calif.; Fred and Fabian, Flint Mich.; 37 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church here. The Rev. Bernard Montag will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Corwith, with Garry Funeral Home, Bancroft, in charge.
