Veterinarian dies at Corwith; Rites Monday
CORWITH: Ernest R. Gee, 80, a retired veterinarian, died here. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Corwith Methodist Church preceded by a prayer service at the Boughton Corwith Funeral Home.
The Rev. C. L. Clason will officiate. The Rev. Louis J. Runion, a former pastor here, will give the sermon. Burial will be in the Corwith Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Elmer Wilson Post of the American Legion.
Born Jan. 1, 1881, at Ypsilanti, Mich. he was the son of Frank and Alice Autin Gee. He was graduated from veterinary college in Ontario, Canada. He was married Nov. 16, 1910, to Mathilda Wermersen at Corwith and had lived here since. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion here.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Eva) Blakely, Clear Lake; two granddaughters, two sisters, Mrs. Chris (Bess) Gram, Frederick, Wis., Miss Grace H. Gee, Centerville, Mich. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
