Corwith woman dies following auto accident

CORWITH: Mrs. Edward (Lillie) Frey, 75, died Thursday at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital of injuries suffered in an auto accident two weeks ago. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Leroy Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in the Corwith Cemetery with Blake Funeral Home in charge.

Born in Flanagan, Ill., Feb. 24, 1889, she was the daughter of Abraham and Lena Zimmerman. She was married to Edward Frey in Flanagan, Feb. 9, 1910. They had lived in Corwith many years.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Raymond B., Corwith; a daughter, Mrs. John (Irma) Puffer, Corwith; four grandchildren and a brother, Louis Zimmerman, Flanagan, Ill.
