Edward C. Ford dies at Dows; Rites Thursday

DOWS: Edward Charles Ford, 72, died suddenly at his farm home west of Dows Tuesday. Born March 14, 1899 [1889] at Garner, he was the son of John and Mary Ford. He was married to Merle Simcox, June 3, 1914, at Audubon.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs, Lyle Williams, Adams, Minn.; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a brother, Ray, Garner.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Dows with burial in Concord Cemetery, Garner. The Rev. Frank Considine will officiate. Van Hove Funeral Home, Dows, is in charge of arrangements.
