Mildred Johnson

BRITT: Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carter Ewing Funeral Home here for Mildred Johnson, 78, Britt, who died Sunday (May 16. 1982) at a Britt nursing home.

The Rev. Blane Balduf, pastor of the Congregational Church of Christ, Britt, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery here.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson graduated from Britt High School and Park Hospital's nursing school. Mason. City. She worked as a nurse in Mason City and Charles City, moving to Britt in 1964. She also worked with the American Red Cross nursing service.

She married Charles Johnson Nov. 11, 1925, in Rockwell.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Auxiliary of World War I Veterans.

One sister, Mrs. Vincent (Evelyn) Kreitinger. Britt, survives.
