Lynn Russell Dies at Britt
Britt - Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Britt city street commissioner, who died at his home Sunday night following a heart attack. The Rev. R. M. Bell will officiate. I.O.O.F. services will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery at Britt.
Born Nov. 27, 1898, at Waterville, he was the son of Ernest and Lydia Smith Russell. On March 8, 1916, he married Eva M. Clemons at York, N.D. They lived at York, then in Wisconsin and moved to Britt in 1950.
A graduate of Waterville High School, Russell was a member of the Methodist Church at Britt and the I.O.O.F.
He is survived by his wife, six children, Edward R. Russell, LaCrosse, Wis.; Wesley Russell, Mason City; Mrs. Dale (Mildred) Turner, Harmony, Minn.; William Russell, Canton, Minn.; Mrs. Galen (Mary Jean) Broadwater, Rochester, Minn., and Bud Russell, Clear Lake; 17 grandchildren and two brothers.
