KANAWHA - Mrs. Verlyn (June) Friedow, 53, of Kanawha, died Sunday at the Belmond hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Kanawha, with the Rev. Harlan Stenberg officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Township Cemetery, Kanawha.

Friends may call after 7 tonight until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home, Kanawha, and prior to services at the church.

Mrs. Friedow is survived by her husband, Verlyn; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Sue Brass, Garner; Melissa Friedow, Dunlap; and Maureen Friedow, Kanawha; two sons, Mark and Mitchell, both of Garner; two sisters, Mrs. Norman Hayworth, Garner, and Mrs. Gary Gabrielson, Belmond; a brother, Lyle Schafer, Norfolk, Va.; her mother, Mrs. Marie Raber, and stepfather, Harry Raber, both of Garner; and five grandchildren.
