KANAWHA - Mrs. Adolf (Ruth) Carlson, 78, Kanawha, died Saturday in a Belmond hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Kanawha, with the Rev. Harlan Stenberg officiating.

Burial will be in Amsterdam Township Cemetery, Kanawha. Visitation is until time of services at Carter Funeral Home, Kanawha.

Mrs. Carlson is survived by her husband, Adolf; six daughters, Mrs. Art (Marjorie) Omvig, Mrs. Ion (Leona) Freerkson and Mrs. Cecil (Maxine) Eliason, all of Kanawha; Mrs. Vernon (Elaine) Weiland, Garner; Mrs. Dwayne (Jeanette) Bonjour, Rockford, and Mrs. Rex (Janice) Liekwig, Rockwell; two sons, Carroll, Owatonna, Minn., and Harlan, Kanawha; a sister, Lillian Douglas, Clarion, and 24 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
