ST. BENEDICT — Lyle Fox, 51, of St. Benedict, a tool inspector, died Friday (Oct. 4, 1985) at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church in Wesley, with the Rev. Gene Landon officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Britt.
Visitation is after 2 this afternoon at Garry Roberts Murphy Schaaf Funeral Home in Wesley.
Mr. Fox was born March 27, 1934, at Titonka, son of George and Ella (Schutjer) Fox. He attended schools at Titonka and on July 3, 1959, married Mildred Boomgarden.
He was employed at Marting Manufacturing Inc. and the creamery at Britt until 1966. In 1968, he moved to St. Benedict. That same year, Mr. Fox began working at Snap On Tools Corp. at Algona. He was an inspector at the plant.
Mr. Fox is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Jackie) Weringa, Lakota, and Crystal Smith, Fairmont, Minn.; two sons, Kurt, Algona, and Ed, St. Benedict; two brothers, Larry and Louis, both of Britt, and four grandchildren.
