Jeffrey Farquhar

BRITT - Funeral services for Jeffrey Farquhar, 20, Britt, will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Britt Evangelical Free Church. He died Monday night after being struck by a car as he was walking on Highway 18 near here.

The Rev. Robert Nieuwendorp will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. to day at the Carter Ewing Funeral Home, Britt.

Mr. Farquhar was born in Britt in 1961 and graduated from Garner Hayfield High School in 1979. While in high school he participated in athletics and drama. He was employed in Britt.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Farquhar, Garner; one sister, Lisa, at home; two brothers, Kenneth, Ames, and Michael, at home, and his grandparents.
