ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, Nov. 30, 1961

Donald T. Wilson, who formerly lived in the Woden area, died Nov. 20 at the Buffalo Center hospital following a short illness. He became seriously ill about 10 days before his death, but had been in failing health for several years.

Wilson was born Jan. 12, 1901, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson at Portland, Ind. At an early age, he moved to Ia. with his parents and lived in the communities of Eagle Grove and Titonka. He married Blanche Bird July 2, 1939. the family lived on a farm SW of Woden until a few years ago when they moved to a farm near Buffalo Center where he lived until his death.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Verla) Alphs, 5 brothers, Chester of Mpls, Mn.; Claire of Orlando, Fla.; Gordon of Ia. Falls; Clyde of Venice, Calif. and Wayne of Omaha, Neb.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and 3 brothers.

Funeral services were held in the Meth. church in Buffalo Center with the Rev. Kenneth Fineran officiating. Burial was in Bingham twp. cemetery at Woden.
