ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, Sept. 8. 1960

Roy Volding, 62, long time resident of Crystal Lake died Tuesday at his farm home.

Born April 21, 1891 at Dows, son of Theodore and EIla Gople Volding. Lived in Dows and Crystal Lake. 1932 he married Florence Bratt, daughter of Mr.. and Mrs. August Bratt of Britt at Armstrong.

Survived by his wife, daughter, Mrs. Beverly Garlock of Mason City, 4 brothers, Gerald of Glenville, Floyd of Mason City, Lynn and Gordon of Britt, 3 sisters, Mrs. Pearl Smith of Britt, Mrs. Ruth Stevens in Calif., and Mrs. Ella Weiberg of Minneapolis.

Services at Meth. church, Crystal Lake with burial in Evergreen cemetery at Britt.
