Lena Hoskins dies at Britt; Rites Thursday

Britt - Mrs. Lena Hoskins, 82, died Monday afternoon at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church preceded by a family prayer service at 11 a.m. at the Osman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Hoskins retired from farming and moved to Britt about 20 years ago. Her husband died in 1946.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Harry Gift, Bussey, Iowa; Mrs. Walter Harvey, Britt; Mrs. Roy Schoenberger, Rolfe; Toni Hoskins, Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Kenneth Hadenfeldt, Storm Lake; Mrs. Robert Boots, Redfield; two sons, Harvey, Urbana, Ill.; Leonard, Britt. A son preceded her in death.
