Arthur Fisher

BRITT - Arthur D. Fisher, 76, formerly of Britt, died Wednesday (April 17, 1985) at a Sioux City nursing home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday here at Cataldo Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Hunt, pastor of Good Hope Lutheran Church at Titonka, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Fisher was born July 19, 1908, at Britt to Elmer and Lena (McNabb) Fisher. He was married to Grace Angle and they farmed in the Britt area until her death, then he worked as a farm laborer in western Iowa. Since 1975, he had lived in the nursing home at Sioux City.

Surviving are two brothers, Frank of Titonka, and Linus, River Grove, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Kahlstorf, Mountain Home, Ark., and Mrs. Leona Metcalf and Mrs. Peter (Jean) Bjerquist, both of Chicago, Ill.; a son-in-law, Robert Fleek, Minneapolis, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
