Britt woman dies in Texas

Britt - Funeral services for Grace Rogers, 86, widow of F. E. Rogers and a former resident of Britt, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Boughton Funeral Home at Britt. The Rev. Warren Paige, pastor of the Methodist Church of Britt will officiate. Burial will be ion Evergreen Cemetery here.

Grace C. Holmes, daughter of John and Carrie (Ellerson) Holmes was born at Portage, Wis., June 3, 1874. She was married to Frank Earl Rogers in 1895. They established their home at Britt, where Mr. Rogers was in the real estate business. The Rogers family built the Allison Hotel.

Mrs. Rogers died Sunday evening at Harrington, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1945. She is survived by a son, Melton, Minneapolis, and two grandsons.
