Mrs. Kropp to Be Buried at Garner

Garner - Funeral services for Mrs. August Kropp, 74, will be held at the Liberty Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. Melvin Miller, Klemme, in charge of the service. Interment will be in the Concord Township Cemetery at Garner with the Bohn Funeral Home of Garner in charge. Mrs. Kropp died at the Belmond Community Hospital early Wednesday following a lingering illness.

Mrs. Kropp was born Aug. 27, 1881, at Garner, the daughter of William and Mary Bredlow, and lived her entire life in the Garner community. On Sept. 26, 1906, she was married to August Kropp. She was active in the Methodist Church and a life-long member of the W.S.C.S. of the Church.

Left to mourn her passing are her nine children, Gilbert Kropp, Goodell; Caris Kropp, Garner; Mrs. Lucille Drugg, Forest City; Mrs. Hilda Bell, Garner; Mrs. Relma Finn, Haywood Calif.; Orville Kropp, Viola Kropp and Lester Kropp, all of Garner, and Mrs. Neva Hartzell, Klemme; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Gast, Klemme, and Mrs. Albert Borchers, Garner; one brother, Franklin Bredlow, Garner; 13 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.
