Plan Rites Of Britt Woman

Mrs. John Brcka, Sr., Native of Bohemia, Dies; Funeral Monday

Britt - Funeral services in charge of Boughton's Funeral home, will be held for Mrs. John Brcka, Sr., who died Friday morning at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic church at Duncan with the Rev. Jarslov Skulacek in charge. Burial will be in the family plot in the St. John's cemetery at Duncan.

She was born May 3, 1857, at Milevsko, Bohemia. She came to the United States at the age of 21.

Surviving are the following children, Charles, Joe and Tony Brcka of Garner, John of Britt, Anna Brcka of Garner, Mrs. Byron Hogan of Mason City, Mrs. Tony Hejlik of Duncan and Mrs. Frank Paca of Garner. Also surviving are two brothers, Frank Nedved of Duncan and Charles Nedved of Garner; and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Buzisky of Britt, Mrs. Jake Fohrman of Brookpark, Minn., and Mrs. Frank Sladek of Merrill, Wis. Her husband preceded her in death August 12, 1936.
