Crystal Lake rites for Fred Henken, 73

Crystal Lake - Fred W. Henken, 73, died early Monday at the Forest City Hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Crystal Lake Methodist Church. Burial will be in Crystal Lake Cemetery with Boughton Funeral Home in charge.

Born 13 Oct 1892, in Germany, he came to this country in 1906. He was married to Della Spear.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Harold Wheeler, Forest City; Mrs. Luvern Helland, Britt; Mrs. Vincent Kirschbaum, Forest City; two sons, Gerd Henken, Garner; Fred Henken, Crystal Lake; 13 grandchildren, two brothers, Henry, Bridgewater, S. D.; William, Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Jerry (Mary) Hurley, Fort Dodge.
