Hold Funeral Tuesday for Hancock Farmer

Garner - Funeral services for Edward A. Holt, 74, were to be held at the Bohn funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. F. C. Griewe in charge. Interment was to be in the Concord township. Holt died at a Mason City hospital Sunday.

Edward A. Holt was born at Seneca Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Holt. On Dec. 31, 1892, he was married to Katie Goss at Seneca. The couple moved to a farm southeast of Garner where the deceased lived at the time of his death.

Surviving are 2 sons, Noah and Lester of Garner, 3 daughters, Mrs. Ed Miller of Dwight, Ill.; Mrs. Fred Stromer of Garner; Anna Mae Holt of Enid, Okla., and a sister, Carrie Bernard, living in Indiana. Mrs. Holt died May 20, 1938.
