N. A. Hanson rites Thursday at Garner

Garner - N. A. Hanson, 90, died Monday at an Anamosa hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Gottsch Funeral Home in Anamosa, and Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bohn Funeral Home here. The Rev. Wallace A. Stark of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery here.

Born March 29, 1874, at Caledonia, Minn., he was married to Mary Anderson of Garner. He was associated with Gildner Clothing Stores from 1912 to 1950 and was credited with coining the phrase, "Get to Know Gildners."

His wife, Mary is the only immediate survivor.
