Alvina Griffen rites Wednesday

Garner - Alvina Griffen, 70, died Monday in Hancock County Memorial Hospital, Britt. Born at Klemme, Feb. 4, 1891, she was the daughter of Carl and Caroline Griffen.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Oscar (Mabel) Durham, Garner: a sister, Mrs. Henry (Clara) Runge, Klemme: a brother, Charles Griffen, Morris, Minn., and a grandson.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church with burial in the Concord Township Cemetery. The Rev. Trevor Baskerville will officiate. Bohn Funeral Home is in charge. The body will lie in state at the church from noon Wednesday until the time of service.
