Paul Gast Funeral Is Held at Garner

Garner - The Methodist church was filled to capacity at funeral services for Paul Gast Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Ernest Hoon spoke from the text, "Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee the crown of life," Mr. Gast had been a member of the official board of the church for years.

Pallbearers were Herman Olson, Roy Lawhorn, John Gatchel, Purd Tompkins, Howard Dusenberg and Alex Hammon. Relatives from Eldora and Steamboat Rock attended. Burial was in Concord cemetery.
