Herbert Missal

BRITT - Herbert "Bud" Missal, 71, of Britt, died Monday (Jan. 28, 1980) at a Mason City hospital.

Mr. Missal farmed for many years northwest of Britt, retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Hancock County Farm Bureau and was active in 4-H work at the county fair.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Evangelical Free Church, Britt, with the Rev. Gordon Kling officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

Visitation is until time of services at Carter-Ewing Funeral Home, Britt.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gary (Wanda) Schafer, of Westmont, Ill.: Bernita Missal, a missionary nurse in the United Arab Emirates; and Mrs. Daryl (D'Laine) Heino, Wesley; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Boening, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Mrs. Alma Steenhard, Britt.
