Friedow Rites To Be Saturday

Services to Be Held in Home, Methodist Church at Britt

Britt - Funeral services for William Friedow, 73, who died Wednesday, will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the home southeast of Britt and 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in Britt with the Rev. C. N. McMillan of Primghar in charge.

Mr.Friedow is one of the pioneers of Hancock county having lived here for the past 52 years. He came to America from Germany at the age of 14 and worked in Illinois and Iowa before settling on a farm in Erin township.

Surviving are two sons, Floyd and Orvin of Britt; a brother Martin Friedow of Compton, Cal.; a sister, Mrs. Anna Kaiser of Belvidere, Ill., and several grandchildren.
