Britt Nonagenarian Succumbs to Illness

Britt - Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Emeline Josephine Dunsmoor, 96, at the Congregational church with the Rev. Lester E. Gatch officiating. Mrs. Dunsmoor was born April 15, 1851, in Belview, Ohio, and died at her home in Britt Dec. 18, 1947, having been a resident of britt since 1872.

Mrs. Dunsmoor and her husband, the late W. W. Dunsmoor were married in Strawberry Point and soon after came to Britt living here continuously during their life time.

She was a member of the Congregational church and its organizations and also of the O.E.S. which conducted burial services.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Clara Hanson , and her son, Guy. Two children preceded her in death. Interments was in the Evergreen cemetery at Britt.
