Henry [Harry] Rose Succumbs at Crystal Lake

Crystal Lake - Harry T. Rose, 86, former elevator manager here for more than 30 years, former Hancock County supervisor, school director and justice of the peace, died Tuesday morning after a long illness. The body is at the Boughton Funeral Home in Britt where rites are pending.

Mr. Rose was born in Garden City Dec. 13, 1868. He was first married in 1889 to Nancy E. Meyer. Children surviving by this marriage are Mrs. Walter Kerr, Yeadon, Pa.; Howard, Crystal Lake; Warren, Williston, N. D.; Mrs. Ernest Osmundson, Thompson; Theodore, Blakesburg, and Mrs. Joseph Kerr, Pendell, Pa.

He was again married in 1908 to Esta Tembey. Surviving children by this marriage are Mrs. Kenneh Mowgarlidge, Bayside, N. Y.; Lois Rose, Aiken, S. C.; Donald, Tucson, Ariz., and Richard, Iowa Falls. There are 22 grandchildren, one brother and four sisters.
