Plan Rites For Mrs. T. Quinn
Britt Woman Dies After 2 Months Illness
Britt - Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas Quinn, who died Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning, will be held at the St. Patrick's Catholic church with the Rev. F. Leo O'Connell saying the requiem high mass. Burial will be in the Bingham Township cemetery near Woden.
Catherine Sarah Canty was born Nov. 22, 1870, at Lawler. She married Thomas Quinn in 1895 and they settled on a farm near Woden where they lived until 1924 when the retired and moved to Britt, their son, Harry, moving on the home farm.
Mrs. Quinn was a faithful member of the St. Patrick's Catholic church and the Catholic Daughters of America.
Mrs. Quinn died Thursday from a stroke suffered Monday. She had been sick with pneumonia for the past two weeks.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Quinn, and one son, harry Quinn of Woden, and one daughter, Mrs. Henry Orthel of Titonka, and four grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of Boughtons funeral home.

Britt - Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas Quinn were held Saturday morning at the St. Patrick's Catholic church with the Rev. F. Leo O'Connell reading the requiem high mass. Burial was in Bingham township cemetery near Woden.
Mrs. Quinn was born Nov. 22, 1870, at Lawler, Iowa, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Canty. She married Thomas Quinn in 1895 an settled on a farm near Woden where they lived until 1924, retiring and moving to their present home in Britt. Mrs. Quinn was ill for two weeks with pneumonia and suffered a stroke on Monday evening before her death Thursday morning.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Quinn; on son, Harry Quinn, of Woden, and one daughter, Mrs. Henry Orthel of Titonka, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were in charge of Boughton's funeral home.
Pallbearers were Arthur Sheridan, Gene Sheridan, John Sheridan, Charles Meleney, William Spangler and R. H. Round.
