Linda Jergensen dies at Britt; Rites Wednesday

Britt - Mrs. Linda T. Jergensen, 68, died early Sunday after a long illness. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Boughton Funeral Home. The Rev. Lee Wilson, Paton, former pastor at the U.B. Church of Stilson, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Born Oct. 9, 1894, near Algona, she was the daughter of Nels and Mary Anne Lorentzen. She was married Jan. 24, 1915, at Garner, to Bert Jergensen. They operated the City Meat Market here 36 years and also the Jergensen Sausage Company. He died in 1952.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Marian) Oustad and Mrs. Frank (Betty) Whetstone, both of Britt; a grandson, two sisters and a brother.
