Mrs. Dirksen Funeral Rites Held in Church

Requiem high Mass was celebrated for Mrs. Ernestina Dirksen, 83, widow of B. H. Dirksen, Thursday at S. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. P. F. Malone was celebrant.

Alter boys were John Ebeling, crucifer; Dennis Morehead, acolyte; Jerry Farrell, thurifer. St. Joseph's High School Choir sang the Mass, under the direction of Sister Mary Damian. Christy Carroll was organist.

Absolution at the grave was given by Father Vincent Walsch, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Shurch, Buffalo Center. Burial was in the Bingham Cemetery at Woden. Grandsons served as pallbearers. The Patterson James Funeral Chapel was in charge.
