Rites Thursday For Early Settler

The body of Frank Daylor was brought to the Boughton Funeral Home Tuesday pending final rites to be held at Evergreen cemetery in Britt Thursday at 2:30 p.m. The graveside services will be conducted by Rev. E. H. Johnson, pastor of the Congregational church.

Frank Daylor, the last of his family, was born at Britt, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Daylor, early settlers who had come to Britt in 1877 to run a general merchandise store.

Mr. Daylor grew to manhood in Britt, receiving his education in the local school. Later he and his older brother Thomas attended Shattuck Military School at Fairbault, Minn. For a time Frank Daylor was in the real estate business in South Dakota until his health failed him. He was 76 years old at the time of his death.

His brother Thomas died in Florida some three years ago. A sister died in infancy. Members of the family are buried in Evergreen cemetery and interment will be made in the family lot.
