Dies in Sleep at Northwood

Northwood - Funeral services for Ethan A. Davis, 71, will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Klein funeral home, with interments in the Ellington cemetery at Forest City.

Mr. Davis was found dead Tuesday morning as a result of a heart attack during his sleep. He lived alone in a small trailer house.

Better known as "Pie" Davis he was familiar to sports fans of North Iowa because of his interest in trap shooting and his ability to repair guns and sporting equipment of any kind.

Surviving are a brother, S. J. Davis of Forest City, and a sister, Mrs. Eva Morgan of Truman, Minn.
