Hold Rites at Corwith for Charles Campbell

Corwith - Charles A. Campbell, 84, died Sunday morning at a hospital in Austin, Minn. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Corwith with burial in the local cemetery.

Mr. Campbell was born in Ireland , March 27, 1859, and as a young man came to America, settling in Cedar county. Later he sent for his parents to come and with them he came to Goldfield where in March, 1892, he was married to Miss Katie Donnellson. He farmed at Renwick and Luverne before settling at Corwith on the farm east of town where he lived until illness caused him to go to the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell celebrated their golden wedding last year.

Besides his widow, Mr. Campbell is survived by 4 sons and a daughter, Mrs. Leslie Barbar (Chloe) at Austin, William at Wilmar, Minn., George, Clark and Verne at Corwith. A daughter Louise, died in 1927.
